1. James Barker was the name of the person who discovered how to make chocolate cake in 1764.  He was able to do it by using two circle-shaped millstone to grind cocoa beans.

3.Back in the  1980s , the " Chocolate Decadence" cakes used to be very popular in the US.
4. Back in 1886,  Americans were the first to think about adding chocolate to cake batter, hence the first chocolate cake was given by the US.
5. The most expensive type of chocolate cake is Sachertorte. It is a classic Austrian cake layered with apricot preserves.



6. The first chocolate recipe that can be found in a cookbook was released in 1847. The chocolate cake recipe was given by Eliza Leslie.
7. A chocolate cake is called a chocolate cake because the flavors used to make it are either chocolate or cocoa powder, or both.
8. The dark chocolate was formulated by Samuel German, that we use in almost every chocolaty recipe.
9.The German Chocolate Cake, this flavored cake variety is not from Germany.
