 CHOCOLATE BROWNIES


 

 A Chocolate Brownie is a dessert and this dessert is loved by almost everyone. A brownie is a square or rectangular shaped chocolate confection which  is an American dessert made with chocolate. Its name came from its brown color. The brownies may include cream cheese, chocolate chips, nuts, frosting, and other ingredients. Chocolate brownies are baked chocolate treat. Brownies are not classified as cakes because although the texture is similar to cake but it is classed as finger food whereas usually cake is eaten with a fork. Chocolate brownies includes the ingredients such as chocolate, flour, butter, eggs, sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla extract.

Chocolate brownies are typically eaten by hand with ice cream, topped with whipped cream, or sprinkled with powdered sugar and fudge. Brownies are also very popular dessert in United Kingdom. Sometimes, brownies are cracked on top, which means the inside is extra soft. These sweet chocolate squares are a timeless hit, but it's important to remember that not all brownies are created equal.

There are three different types of brownies:
Fudgy Brownie
Chewy Brownie
Cakey Brownie

Fudgy Brownie



Fudge Brownie has a high amount of fat in the form of chocolate and butter and less flour than other varieties of chocolate brownies. Fudge brownies are moist, dense, with almost the texture of fudge.
Fudge brownies start with butter and either bittersweet or unsweetened chocolate which get melted together, and it can also contain cocoa powder. 

Chewy Brownie



Chewy Brownie are the classics you know and it's a delicious chocolate treat. It fall somewhere between their fudgy and cakey counterparts. Chewy brownies are dense like fudge brownie, but have a little more "bite" to them or elastic texture when you chew them. The addition of brown sugar in chewy brownie is also crucial, because it speeds gluten formation which results in chewier texture.

Cakey Brownie



Cakey Brownies are just might remind you of a delicious piece of chocolate cake. These brownies are dense, rich center and the thickest of the three and cakey brownies have a lighter, airier texture due to a lower amount of fat, more flour and the addition of baking powder. These brownies have a center that are more fluffy and less soft than fudgy and chewy brownies.
